ROCKETS!!!!
ROCKETS!!!!!!!
ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!
We had so much fun during our investigation session in Science this week. We were learning about rockets with the use of balloons. We learnt how the amount of air in a balloon can affect the distance a balloon can travel.
We had information to investigate throughout the lesson.
- Does the shape of the balloon have an effect on how far it travels?
- What gas is used to make the balloons stay in the air?
- Does the amount of air in a balloon affect the distance travelled?
We had a great time working collaboratively in our groups during the investigation and later we collected our data and transferred it into a table.
Attaching the balloon to the straw before take off. |
Getting excited when the balloon propelled down the fishing line. |
Setting up the balloon. |
The group's balloon zooming down the fishing line. |
Measuring the distance the balloon travelled along the fishing line . |
