ROCKETS!!!!
ROCKETS!!!!!!!
ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!

We had so much fun during our investigation session in Science this week. We were learning about rockets with the use of balloons. We learnt how the amount of air in a balloon can affect the distance a balloon can travel.
We had information to investigate throughout the lesson.
  • Does the shape of the balloon have an effect on how far it travels?
  • What gas is used to make the balloons stay in the air?
  • Does the amount of air in a balloon affect the distance travelled?

We had a great time working collaboratively in our groups during the investigation and later we collected our data and transferred it into a table.

Attaching the balloon to the straw before take off.

Getting excited when the balloon propelled down the fishing line.

Setting up the balloon.

The group's balloon zooming down the fishing line.

Measuring the distance the balloon travelled along the fishing line
