WEEK 10 BREAKFAST
WHEN:    Wednesday 13 December
WHERE:  Room 17 and the Grass area outside Room 17
TIME:       8:30am

As we are having our swimming lessons throughout the middle of each day this year, Mr Petch and myself have decided to hold an end of year breakfast as we are unable to have an end of year lunch.
The breakfast will be held in and around Room 17.  As we have worked closely with Room 17 this year, we have decided to combine our end of year party.
The breakfast is to commence immediately in the morning as soon as the children arrive at school.
All food is to arrive at Room 17 at 8.30am. We are unable to heat any food. It would be lovely to see traditional breakfast foods from the many cultures within our classes. This would allow the students opportunities to experience other culture traditions.
Students must be in school uniform.
Some items of food would include: cereal, milk, pancakes, jam, syrup, fruit, yoghurt, breads, fruit juice, sandwiches, waffles, water and rice.
If you have any questions regarding the breakfast,  including the food items, please do not hesitate to ask me.

SWIMMING

Swimming lessons will commence in Week 9 on Monday, 4th December. There will be eight lessons in total and all lessons will be at Belmont Oasis. A permission slip and Water Excursion Consent form have been sent home, and thank you to everyone who has already submitted the forms and paid for the excursion. For the families who have not yet handed in the forms and money, these are due by Wednesday, 29th November.

Students may wear bathers to school under their uniform or change at recess. Students will only need to take a towel, goggles, school T-shirt and footwear (may be thongs) in a labelled bag/plastic bag to the pool. Some lessons may be conducted in the outdoor pools therefore, it is recommended that children are provided with sunscreen, rashies and hats. Children will get changed back into their clothes on their return to school. Please label all of the belongings to minimise any loss of possessions.
